Program Note: “Finding Bliss” is a musical telling of a love story between two people. The juxtaposition of two distinct themes represents the journey these two people take. Learning how to let down barriers and properly feel. But one cannot accomplish that without the other.
The first theme is the “heroic theme” and represents the front that person one puts up to seem more confident than what they are. Over time, the theme becomes lusher with the juxtaposition of these two.
Theme two is the “love theme” and represents the softness that person two possesses and tries to break down the walls person one has put up over the years. Will they succeed?
